Our story began in the early days, when Kurt Hambsch, Jr. started working in his family's business at the age of 13, learning the ins and outs of the structural concrete contracting business. This early start laid the foundation for Kurt's extensive knowledge and experience in the industry.

Our History

Kurt Hambsch, Jr. did not forget his roots, and in 1989, he founded Southern Gulf Construction, Inc. With a keen sense of dedication and passion for building, Kurt started his own contribution to the growth of the community in Southwest Florida. As the area grew, so did Southern Gulf Construction, expanding from a few employees to a full-service construction company with over 50 employees during peak phases, working on multiple projects across the state of Florida.
