Our story begins in 1928 when Llewelyn Phillips, our founder, saw an opportunity to provide plumbing services to the rapidly growing community of El Cerrito.

As the company grew, so did our commitment to excellence. Llewelyn's son, Llyod, learned the plumbing trade from his father and took over the family business in 1952. After Llyod retired in 1979, Ralph, Llewelyn's grandson, took the reins and has been leading the company ever since. Today, Ralph and his son, Brian, are the heart and soul of Phillips Plumbing.
