Our mission is to lead the landscape and construction industry into an ecologically-conscious paradigm, with a focus on delivering functional landscapes that meet each client's unique needs.

Our Team

Ted Maas, our President and Founder, guides Maas Verde with a calculated passion for the fundamentals of nature. With two degrees from Oregon State University in Natural Resource Management and Sustainability, Ted's expertise lies in implementing native plant communities and green infrastructure to create biodiverse, sustainable landscapes at all scales. As a volunteer, he has led multiple nature hikes and backcountry ski trips, and participated in wildlife studies. Today, Ted leads Maas Verde's operations, but when he's not working, he loves seeing live music and going on long walks with his black lab, Pondo.

Andy Maas, our Office Manager, began his career in corporate America, where he gained valuable experience in accounting, finance, capital projects, budgeting/forecasting, logistics, contracts, and negotiation. Seeking a change of scenery, he joined Maas Verde to help grow the family business. Andy enjoys traveling around Texas hunting, fishing, and spending time outside with his wife and two daughters.

Molly Pikarsky, our Director of Business Development and Nursery Operations, grew up in the mountains of Colorado where her connection with nature began. With a degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado, Molly's expertise lies in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and vendors. She also oversees our nursery operations, ensuring that we have a steady supply of native plants for our projects. Molly loves spending time outdoors hiking, camping, and gardening.
