Ricci Lumber has been proudly serving the Seacoast area for over 66 years, since 1957. Our family-owned business has been built on a foundation of quality, commitment, and customer service. As a respected and well-established lumber and building materials supplier, we take great pride in offering a wide range of products and services to meet the needs of our customers.

Our History and Mission

Ricci Lumber was founded by Erminio and Anna Ricci, along with their son, Bud, in 1957. The site chosen for the business was strategically located along the railroad tracks and the North Mill Pond, providing easy access for freight shipments. In 1960, Don Hayes, Erminio and Anna's youngest daughter, Chickie's spouse, joined the company and introduced lumber and plywood to the product mix. Don's leadership and vision helped the company expand into windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, hardware, and paint.

Under Don's leadership, the company flourished, and in 1977, Pat Moretti joined the team, becoming the manager and continuing to lead the company to this day. Eddie Hayes, Don's son, joined the company in 1996 and spearheaded the construction of a 20,000 SF new design center, showroom, and warehouse in 2014.

In 2021, Ricci Lumber merged its operations with Kodiak Building Partners, a group of well-run building materials businesses with a nation-wide footprint. This partnership enables us to focus on providing world-class customer service and selling the highest quality building materials at competitive prices to our customers.
