It began in 1981 with the founding of SK Fence by Steve Koester, who quickly established the company as the leading provider of residential and commercial fencing in the area. SK Fence's commitment to using top-quality materials, coupled with their unwavering professionalism, earned them a loyal clientele who consistently sought their expertise for other exterior home improvements.

Simultaneously, Caleb Burton founded BHI Inc. in 2001, a burgeoning business specializing in residential and commercial new construction roofing and siding. Their ability to consistently deliver projects on time and to the highest standard of quality made them a trusted partner for contractors, fueling their continued growth.

Recognizing the synergy between their respective strengths, Steve Koester and Caleb Burton joined forces in 2006, merging SK Fence and BHI Inc. to create SK Exteriors. This union of skilled leadership and unwavering craftsmanship paved the way for a company that could offer a comprehensive suite of exterior home improvement solutions to clients.
