The AE Design Architecture Team

Alan G. Estrada, a native of Martinez, California, established AE Design Architecture in 1989. His architectural journey began at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned his degree in 1978. Mr. Estrada's dedication to the field extends beyond his academic achievements; he served in Vietnam, further shaping his strong work ethic and unwavering commitment to excellence. Prior to launching his own architectural firm, Mr. Estrada honed his craft under the esteemed guidance of architect Allan Johannes of Montclair.

Licensed by the California Architects Board, License #C20258, Mr. Estrada's career has spanned a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, industrial, and medical projects, culminating in hundreds of successful completions across the Bay Area.

A Legacy of Innovation and Client-Centric Approach

Mr. Estrada's dedication to innovation and client satisfaction is central to the ethos of AE Design Architecture. In September 2013, he played a pivotal role in achieving ASTM certification for a novel two-hour floor/ceiling occupancy separation material. This accomplishment not only provided significant cost savings for his clients in tenant improvement projects but also introduced a more sustainable and eco-friendly construction material to the national architectural and contracting community.
