Our Story

Our journey began with a small brass foundry in Erie, Pennsylvania, which was purchased by John and William Hays in 1869. Over the years, we have evolved to become a prominent name in the industry, serving various sectors including office buildings, schools, hospitals, supermarkets, commercial marine vessels, and more. One of our most significant achievements is our association with the US Navy, for whom we have been the exclusive supplier of Automatic Flow Control Valves since 1963. Our Mesurflo technology has been successfully controlling the chilled water systems on submarines, surface vessels, and weapons systems like the Patriot Missile Launcher for over three decades.
