Custom Lois Miller Garden Design Services in San Jose
Lois Miller Lois Miller Garden Design Service has dedicated four decades to transforming outdoor spaces through expert garden design and landscape planning. With 25 years of professional experience, I specialized in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing environments for residential, small-scale commercial, and planned development projects. My background in ornamental horticulture, art, and designbolstered by a Bachelor of Science degree from Cal Poly and hands-on construction trainingallowed me to develop tailored solutions that harmonize with California's unique ecosystems. My work extended beyond private gardens to community projects, where I gained insight into diverse client needs across age groups and organizational structures. As an independent designer, I prioritized client autonomy by facilitating competitive contractor bids while maintaining creative control over every project. My expertise in native plants, deer-resistant landscaping, and sustainable practices ensured long-lasting, ecologically responsible designs. Through volunteer work in school gardens, I cultivated spaces that engage children with nature and outdoor learning. My portfolio demonstrates a commitment to quality, with projects spanning Los Gatos, Palo Alto, and San Jose that continue to thrive years after installation. While retiring from new business, I remain available to past clients for ongoing support and consultation.
