Our Story

Lynn Taylor's passion for design and construction began at a young age. Growing up, she was always fascinated by the way things worked together to create a cohesive whole. As a child, she would spend hours building with Legos and creating with her hands. This innate creativity and attention to detail would later become the foundation of her life's work.

After studying engineering and architecture, Lynn began her career as a residential designer. She worked for several firms, honing her skills and gaining valuable experience. In 2000, she founded Taylor Made Plans, with the vision of providing custom, innovative designs that blend functionality with aesthetics.

Throughout her career, Lynn has received numerous awards and accolades for her work. Her designs have been featured in local and national media, including HGTV and Old House Journal. Her commitment to historic preservation has earned her recognition from organizations such as the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Historic Commission of Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County.
