Sealcoating & Patching
We understand the importance of maintaining your pavement to prevent damage and extend its lifespan. Our sealcoating services use only the highest-quality materials to provide durability and longevity. Unlike our competitors, we do not compromise on the quality of our materials by cutting them with unnecessary products. Depending on the traffic on your pavement, we recommend sealing every 2-4 years to protect your blacktop from stains and the elements.
Our crack sealing process is designed to prevent moisture penetration, which can cause cracks to widen and eventually lead to potholes. We clean all cracks with pressurized air, remove any vegetation or other obstacles, and then seal the cracks using hot-applied rubberized joint sealant that exceeds Federal specifications. A light aggregate material is finally added to the hot rubber to improve adhesion to the pavement surface.
Differences Between Asphalt & Blacktop
Asphalt and blacktop are essentially the same, with the primary difference being the context in which they are used. Blacktop is commonly used for residential driveways and playgrounds, while asphalt is more commonly used for commercial purposes such as roads and parking lots. Both are created by mixing stone and sand with bitumen, a substance found in crude oil and other natural deposits, and then compressing them with a steamroller to make them smooth, solid, and water-resistant.
At All Shore Paving, we are committed to providing exceptional service and unparalleled quality to our clients. Whether you're looking to install a new driveway, repair a parking lot, or maintain your existing pavement, we have the expertise and resources to meet your needs.
