At Urban Interior Design, we believe that a space should do more than just provide functionality - it should express a feeling, tell a story, and serve as a visual representation of your unique personality and style. Our founder, Laurie, is a full-service interior designer based in Minneapolis, who approaches each project with a hands-on and interactive approach, ensuring that you are an integral part of the creative design process.

We believe that great design and decor doesn't have to be created from scratch or require a large budget. That's why we enjoy implementing unique and sentimental pieces that you already own, while also pursuing rare flea market finds, and refurbishing, repurposing, and upcycling whenever possible. This approach not only helps us to create one-of-a-kind pieces that cannot be found in big box stores, but it also falls in line with our commitment to green design ethics.

At Urban Interior Design, we are inspired by and prefer to blend multiple design styles into a truly original space which is tastefully diverse and mutually exclusive. Our design styles and aesthetics include, but are not limited to: Transitional, Modern, Urban Industrial, Rustic Modern, Light Mediterranean, Eclectic, Ethnic, Mid-Century Modern, Desert Modern, Santa Fe, Coastal, and Mountain Modern.

• Furniture and Decor Selection: We will help you to select furniture, decor, and accessories that fit your style, budget, and lifestyle. We have access to a wide range of vendors and can help you to find the perfect pieces to complete your space.
• Project Management: We will manage the entire project from start to finish, including ordering and tracking deliveries, scheduling contractors, and overseeing installation. This will help to ensure that your project is completed on time and within budget.
• Styling and Final Touches: We will add the final touches to your space, including styling books, accessories, and artwork. This will help to create a cohesive and polished look.
