Our Story

We were founded in 2008 by Kristen Terjesen, a seasoned interior designer and entrepreneur. Recognizing the national economic downturn, Kristen seized the opportunity to create a boutique interior design firm that would deliver exceptional design services to clients across various sectors. Over the past twelve years, we have evolved to become a prominent player in the design industry, delivering comprehensive interior design services for multi-family, hospitality, commercial, and residential environments.

Our Team

Our team of talented designers, project managers, and support staff is dedicated to delivering exceptional design services to our clients. With a combined total of over 50 years of experience in the design industry, our team is equipped to tackle any design challenge.

• Kristen Terjesen: Owner and Principal Designer, Kristen is the creative force behind Studio 10's success. With over 18 years of experience in interior design and interior architecture, Kristen is NCIDQ certified and has spent the last decade designing interior experiences that seamlessly blend form and function.
• Ranee Mathern: Office Manager, Ranee brings a unique blend of administrative expertise and design appreciation to our team. With a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance, Ranee has honed her skills in client management and team coordination.
• Emily Hansen: Design Director, Emily is a Midwestern Girl through and through! With a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Emily has honed her skills in commercial and residential design. Emily is a talented artist and painter at heart.
• Amanda Rouse: Lead Interior Designer, Amanda has acquired extensive experience in healthcare, senior living, higher education, hospitality, and high-end residential projects. She is passionate about creating spaces that inspire and delight.
