Our Story

Growing up, our founder Gregg would take backpacking trips through the Sierras with his dad, fell in love with the natural beauty of California. He pursued an education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, receiving a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture. After graduation, Gregg returned to work in construction for his brother's general contracting company, Hoffman & Associates. His various responsibilities included framing, masonry, concrete, plumbing, stucco, carpentry, and landscaping. This heavy construction experience would serve him well in his future enterprises.

In 1995, Gregg and his wife Gina started their own landscaping business, built on the values and principles of aesthetics, sustainability, and usability. Today, with over 25 years of experience, Outside Matters has flourished into a family-owned business that brings clients to the cutting-edge of high-end landscape technology and trends.

• WWOO Concrete Outdoor Kitchen: As the US Licensee of WWOO, we bring this innovative, modular outdoor kitchen design to your backyard, perfect for entertaining and relaxation.
