Olya's Journey

Olya Sharonova's passion for architecture stems from a childhood fascination with the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. This early inspiration led her to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Architecture from the University of Kansas in 2004. Following graduation, she honed her skills as a residential interior designer in Lawrence, Kansas. Her career path then took her to California, where she transitioned into commercial design, becoming a project manager overseeing projects from conception to completion. In 2010, Olya made Colorado her home, joining the Teller County Building Department as a plans examiner. This role provided her with invaluable insights into building codes and the permitting process, further enriching her architectural expertise.
