Our Story

Established in 1956, Leaska Construction Company has been building quality homes in the Connecticut area for more than 60 years. Owner and President Mike Leaska, along with his wife Sharon, continues the tradition his father began over a generation ago using knowledge and experience that has been handed down through decades of successful projects. Mike and Sharon's love for the outdoors inspires them to use energy-efficient methods while maximizing the natural surroundings of each home site. Through the years, many solid relationships have been established with our vendors, with our clients, and with our communities. These relationships help drive the superior quality, workmanship, service, and attention to detail that Leaska Construction Company is known for. Our goals have always been simple: listen, communicate honestly, and understand the needs and desires of each homebuyer. Limiting the number of developments we do allows us to work individually with each of our homeowners. Understanding that every customer has unique tastes and styles, we can accommodate custom requests to ensure that the home we build is the home of their dreams.
