Our History

Joe Koch Construction was founded in 1984, initially specializing in rough framing and finished carpentry. Just four years later, Joe Koch purchased STANJIM Homes, a well-known and successful local construction company. Since then, Joe Koch Construction and STANJIM Homes have become one of the largest and most innovative residential builders in the Mahoning Valley.

We've been recognized nationally by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing privately held companies in the U.S.A., ranking #140 in 1991 and #462 in 1992. Over the past thirty years, we've successfully completed several housing developments in the Mahoning Valley, including Countryside in West Austintown, Stone Hollow, Spring Meadow, and Boulder Creek in Austintown, and Huntington Woods in Boardman. We've also built numerous homes off-site on our customers' lots.
