Founded in 2004, the company has been built on a legacy of excellence in New England construction management. In 2022, Robert McGlauflin, who brings over two decades of building and construction management experience, purchased Open Meadow from the founder, Cary Johnson, and now runs the company with his wife, Gayle, who serves as the Director of Business Operations.

Our professional team at Open Meadow is dedicated to collaborating with our build team, office team, trade partners, and clients to deliver exceptional residential construction projects. With a strong in-house build team and long-standing relationships with area trade partners, including architects, we are able to efficiently manage and build a wide variety of custom residential construction projects. The Process

Getting to Know You: We start by understanding your project goals and establishing a warm and welcoming relationship.

Initial Site Meeting: We meet you on site to walkthrough the project, take photos and measurements, and look at any schematic plans that clients may already have.

Initial Estimate: Based on our knowledge of current pricing and recent projects, we provide a preliminary estimate to give you good information early on in the process for budgeting purposes.

Pre-Construction: We work with you along with the architect or designer to finalize the project's scope, put together a final, formal proposal, and construction contract, and pull permits to start construction.

Construction: We bring your project to life! Our team and trade partners work diligently to deliver the highest level of craftsmanship, and we keep you informed every step of the way.
