Founder's Profile

Jerry Coe, the founder of Coe Studios, is a sculptural metalsmith who specializes in bronze. His passion for traditional blacksmithing began during his apprenticeship at Yosemite National Park's Pioneer History Center. In 1984, Jerry established his Berkeley studio and expanded his metalworking skills to create Coe Studios Architectural Lighting in 1989. His artistic inspiration is drawn from nature and his travels around the world.

Products

Coe Studios' bronze lamps are designed to meet the need for durable, high-quality lighting that is stylish enough to complement many gardens and homes, from contemporary to traditional. Our fixtures are elegant and versatile, allowing for various installation options such as ground-level mounting on conduit, attachment to railings or posts, use as wall sconces, or hanging from eaves.

Our lamps come in different sizes to suit the scale and shape of your garden, entryway, walkway, or deck. The lampshades and bases are made of solid bronze, a non-corroding metal that becomes more beautiful with age. The square glass globes are hand-blown from thick glass that diffuses light effectively.

Our GL, EN, and ES models have passed the rigorous tests for UL "Wet Location" rating, and other models are UL-rated for "Damp Location." All our products are covered by a full life-time warranty.
