History

The company was founded in 1967 by J. Michael Foxx to support his studies while attending graduate school. After rapid growth and success, Mike decided to stay with the company instead of seeking another job after graduation. In 1973, Ralph Batsel and Don Flecky joined as part-time janitors while pursuing their education. They eventually transitioned to full-time positions, ultimately becoming 50% owners of the company in 1979. Ralph and Don are active in the operation of the business, each being licensed general contractors. Today, Foxx Building Services, Inc. serves commercial and industrial customers primarily in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, with a presence in parts of Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.

How We Operate

The company is managed by Ralph and Don, who are often directly involved on job sites. Ralph handles bidding, planning, and inspecting work, while Don oversees administrative functions. Our Operations Manager, Randy Santa Maria, coordinates all operations, schedules services, and ensures timely completion. Under Randy's direction are supervisors and employees who carry out the services. With this setup, we ensure prompt and professional service delivery to our clients.
