I had a wonderful experience with Sunshine Foundation Repairs. I was extremely anxious around the slab foundation issues and Jonathan took ample time answering my questions and explaining things in ways that made sense to me. I even called him a few hours after the inspection to ask some follow up questions and he returned my call within an hour.
I had multiple companies come out to give me quotes and none were as detailed or took as much time as Jonathan.

We hired Sunshine Foundation Repairs in 2025 to help us with an EBB grant we had received to retrofit our 75yo home. It was so exceptionally easy to work with them in terms of the initial estimate, the fair pricing and then getting all of the paperwork and photos filed for the grant - it was a dream. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about foundations and go above and beyond with their recommendations of how to keep your home safe from both earthquakes and general wear and tear. I chose Sunshine Foundation Repairs because of their great Yelp reviews, and they absolutely lived up to them. Before calling them, a structural engineer told me the foundation to my house was slipping and that Id need extensive underpinningso I was extremely anxious. Solomon came out right away, was incredibly kind, and clearly knowledgeable. Most importantly, he was honest: he explained that my home was actually stable and did not need underpinning. His reassurance meant everything, and it was refreshing to meet a company that wont sell you something you dont need. I was truly grateful for his integrity and professionalism. Highly recommend!

I used them as part of the Brace & Bolt program and had a great experience with Sunshine Foundation Repairs! I got 5 bids before choosing a company. When Solomon came out to give me the free estimate, he was so much more thorough in his inspection than any of the other companies (completely checking under the house), that I expected the estimate to be the most expensive. Surprisingly, it was actually the least! I'm not sure how they do the best job at the best price, but they really do. They were on top of everything so that I didn't have to worry about my Brace & Bolt dashboard/paperwork being updated, and showed up when they said they would (and were willing to work with me if I needed changes in the schedule). Would certainly recommend!

I recently contracted with Sunshine Foundation for a foundation issue in Carson, CA. I'm a Realtor and needed this service for a client. I interviewed a few Foundation experts and Sunshine was the best value. They showed from the beginning that they really are experts in their field and their prices were very reasonable. Life happens, and we had a hiccup in the project. I'm writing this review specifically because of how they handled the problem. They were professional, considerate, honest, and all the wonderful things I wish more vendors in this space would exhibit. Working with Sunshine Foundation Repairs was exactly what we needed on our project in South Orange County! They were very involved from the beginning to the end of construction, the owner of the company even showed up personally at 7 AM for the first inspection. The City was difficult to work with but the Sunshine team was diligent and patient in dealing with them. We replaced about 75% of the existing footing, no small feat, and the construction crews worked as quickly as they could and there were not any setbacks with inspections. I would recommend Sunshine to anyone needing foundation repairs.

Sunshine company repairs recently completed the foundation project in my house. From call to estimate to completion of the job is a really happy process. When Solomon came to estimate he checked carefully and listed all details of repairs. The price is much better than other company s price. The Diana in the company office is very nice and patience to answer our questions and schedule the job. The crew members completed the job very professionally. Its quite a daunting process when looking for the right contractor for a big foundation repair job but Im beyond grateful that I found Sunshine. My 1923 home in Glendale had major cracks throughout which sparked my concern so I started my search. There were 2 contractors that didnt even go into my crawlspace and recommended a "seismic retrofit" while 2 others showed me pictures and videos of my crumbling foundation but Lee was by far the most thorough and provided all the info on what was happening and gave me multiple options for replacement and reinforcement. They never pressured me into doing the work which I loved. The office was very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the entire project. The crew showed up and worked their tails off every day and were very respectful and cleaned up beautifully. I cannot recommend this company enough for any foundation needs.
