Mike was on time, very knowable and work in an efficient manner.
The cost for two hours worth of work for a skilled plumber and helper was almost $950.00. To expensive to use for any future work.

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! Michael is by far the best technician we have ever had service our home. He and John provided the most positive plumbing experience! Professional, courteous, efficient and honest!! Cannot thank Michael and Metcalf Plumbing enough!

Mike was very helpful and transparent about what needed to be done, what could potentially be wrong (proving the worst and best case scenarios), and the cost associated with it. Jonathan was also very helpful and did his job well. He expressed his desire to take his time and make sure what he worked on was done correctly. Les and Charles are amazing! Our boiler was failing and they replaced it in the same week. The installation is beautiful. They are knowledgeable, professional, and so organized! We are grateful to Les for organizing his team to repair our heat quickly and near the holidays. Metcalf is local, family owned, and scheduling was a breeze. They are now our go-to plumbing service!

Very quick and very kind. Helped me to verify what was going on as a second opinion and of course both them and the people at honest Abe were right about my aquastat. Mike really took the time to hear me out and was sensitive to my obvious lack of financing. I highly recommend both him and the individual on the phone were very helpful.

Customer service was excellent when I called to make the appointment. Plumber arrived at scheduled time and was very thorough in diagnosing the issue. I would absolutely call them again when I need a plumber.

Mike came to look at my garbage disposal (2 years old) that suddenly started making a loud noise (on a "quiet" disposal). He assessed and found it in working order despite the noise. While here he took a look at a toilet that had was repaired in October, 2024 (at my request) by a Metcalf technician. Filling after flushing was not working consistently properly. Has continued to intermittently have same issue since installation of new valve, flapper & supply valve in 2024. It did not occur while Mike was here. After he left, the first time toilet was flushed the earlier issue -- delayed filling -- occurred again and has continued through the night and today. I do not blame Mike for something he didn't see, That the issue continues is problematic. Mike was professional, friendly, on time and responsive to the disposal issue. He was particularly thoughtful in looking at two of my toilets while here.

Very professional. They wore booties and cleaned up the work area. They offered to come the same day but that actually didn't work for me, so they came a couple days later. They fixed some poor workmanship done by a prior plumber as well as taking care of the acute problem. Mike worked tirelessly until it was taken care of. I am very grateful. I would wholeheartedly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

Put on protective booties at the front door before I even asked. Cleaned up after the job with disinfectant. Professional work. Was even quiet while I worked from home.

I had a ceiling leak from an upstairs bathroom. A section of the ceiling had to be cut open to find where the leak was coming from, which turned out to be the toilet. The wax ring was replaced under the toilet. Everything was done quickly and professionally, they cleaned up after the job and were very pleasant to work with.

Prompt, efficient service that left no stone unturned. Completely happy with our new sink and associated plumbing. MIchael and Johnathan were professional in every way.

I had a leak in my basement behind a bathroom wall that had really difficult access to the pipes. It was most likely going to need a hole punched in the basement shower but Michael and his coworker put in the extra effort to get to the pipes without doing that. They did an amazing job and saved me a bunch of money. I can't thank them enough. Professional, customer first, service. They've earned a loyal customer today. Thanks!

We've had to call Metcalf Plumbing twice now (once for water service line replacement and more recently for our leaking water heater). Both times, Metcalf has been easy to work with from start to finish. For both projects, Metcalf showed up on time, explained what was going on, our options, and price estimates. For our water line, Les, Lou, and Mike M. all came out. For our water heater, it was just Mike M. Both times, everyone was friendly, encouraged us to ask questions, polite, treated our home like it was their home, etc. We can't recommend them enough!
