Teragren specializes in harnessing the remarkable qualities of Moso bamboo, a fast-growing and renewable resource. Among the over 1,500 species of bamboo worldwide, Moso (Phyllostachys pubescens) is renowned for its exceptional strength and durability. When harvested at its peak maturity, between 5.5 and 6 years, Moso bamboo possesses a density and fiber structure exceeding many hardwoods, resulting in flooring, panels, veneer, and countertops that are both visually stunning and exceptionally robust.

We source our Moso bamboo from responsibly managed forests in the Zhejiang province of China, adhering to strict guidelines that ensure the long-term health and vitality of the bamboo forests.
