1800 Water Damage of Boise is one of the best companies to work with. We had a water leakage and got a referral for them. We met Doug the owner and he was very helpful in restoring our house. Doug is very professional and honest to work with. He explained us the complete process at the beginning itself so that we did not get any surprises later. We had a dryer vent screen that was not removed after the completion of our home build. This led to a plugged dryer vent that created a condensation drip. Fast forward 5 years and we discovered mold and drywall damage in our laundry room. We called 1-800-water damage and they were on it immediately. They sent someone out same day to assess the situation and then coordinated all the various trades required to fix the damage.
They kept me in the loop via email and text. Unlike 90% of the other contractors I've worked with, these guys were on top of it. Great quality work and at a fair price. I can't recommend them enough. A++!

I had a water damage thing last June. It rained and a bunch of water came into our basement where we had a friend staying. I know that the company had a BIG PROJECT in process. They had all their people involved in a major money making deal. Doug called me and offered to have some of his people leave that job and come over to my house. It wasn't a critical issue, and I said that was not necessary.
They came over the next day and solved the issue. The point was that the offer was made and that is what 1-800-Water Damage is all about. Doug and NIta are incredible customer service people, and their employees get the job done professionally. I cannot thank Doug and Nita enough.

I came home after a weekend away and found a few inches of water in my crawl space. I called Doug with 1-800 Water Damage and he came over immediately to take a look. Doug was able to quickly find the source and stop any further damage. Luckily, after Doug evaluated the situation, he determined that we just needed to remove the water and dry out the crawl space. Doug was extremely helpful and without his knowledge and expertise, the damage would have been much worse. I would highly recommend 1-800 Water Damage if there's any sign of water in a home. They were great to work with! They were at the house within the hour of my phone call and had the whole room, carpet and walls cut and fans going before they left for the night. Reconstruction went well and they worked very well with us to ensure we were happy with the service we received from the sub contractors and handled all the insurance communication. They made a horrible mess bearable and restored it to better than it was!

Quick and responsive. In the end, that's what you want from a water damage and restoration service. I run a business in the Boise area that provides pressure washing among a number of other services. Rarely does our service ever cause damage to a customer's property. Unfortunately, in this instance, it did. The customer was concerned that water that leaked in through a sliding glass door would create mold under the carpet pad if left unattended.
I asked 1 800 Water Damage to come in on my company's behalf to confirm. To ensure there would be no danger of mold growing under the carpet, the team at 1 800 Water Damage took the necessary steps to correct the issue. In the end my customer was satisfied and I was left knowing that there would be no future problems as a result of the work we did.

Doug Stern and his crew were very professional as they remediated mold in the crawl space of a listing I had. He did not delay and the work was done in a timely manner. I had confidence that the mold was remediated correctly and my seller was pleased with the results. The buyer also had confidence that her new home would not be a health hazard and she was also pleased that closing on the property was not delayed by the mold remediation. I give 1 800 Water Damage a 5 star rating.
