Lane Brothers

Lane Brothers is a third-generation family-owned and operated contracting firm that has been providing professional painting and wallcovering services for Richmond and Central Virginia since 1946. Our mission is to deliver quality and value in a professional manner, and we take pride in exceeding our customers' expectations by consistently delivering high-quality finished products, on time and on budget.

Our History

In 1946, two brothers, Carl R. Lane and Lewis H. Lane, started Lane Brothers in Richmond, Virginia. In 1980, Carl Lane's son, William E. Lane, acquired the company and continued to direct and support operations until recently when his son, T. Bryan Lane, became President. Our company's business is housed in its own 3-story building located in downtown Richmond, with a combined 14,300 square feet of office and warehouse space.

Our Team

Our team consists of dedicated, career-minded professionals who focus on quality, on-time performance, and cost. We have a combined 85 years of experience in the painting industry, and our office support staff of three provides exceptional customer service. Our painting and wallcovering crew size varies with the workload, but we consistently employ a crew of 30 experienced professionals.

Our Affiliations

We are an active member of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), the Richmond Better Business Bureau, the Richmond Building Exchange, and Dun and Bradstreet. Two members of our administrative staff have been past presidents, and one is a past Secretary/Treasurer of our local chapter of the PDCA.
