What We Do

We take a collaborative approach to our projects, starting with the generation of multiple design ideas and options in an open studio environment that involves our clients directly. By working together, our team and our clients can refine these design options and infuse them with our clients' unique perspectives. As the design evolves, we work closely with our clients and contractors to bring the project to life through construction and occupancy. Our team is made up of talented and motivated individuals who are passionate about design. We have a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, but we share a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating a better environment.

Teaching and Mentorship

We believe in the importance of teaching and mentorship. As a design practicum, architecture grows out of intellectual and community engagement. To bring this into our daily lives and engage with the future generation of design leaders, we host a Chicago residency program for 4th-year Virginia Tech architecture students. The program combines the intellectual rigor of the academic studio with lessons and experiences from everyday practice. Our team and other local architecture firms mentor and support the students, providing them with a comprehensive education in architecture and design.

We are proud to showcase the work of our student interns and their design projects. Our students have produced a wide range of projects, from commercial buildings to residential homes, that demonstrate their creativity and skill.
