Carlile Coatsworth Architects was founded in 1989 by two Cal Poly SLO graduates, Jeff Carlile and Cal Coatsworth, with a shared passion for architectural design. The partners' concept-to-creation approach led to the growth of their small firm into a mid-sized architecture firm with over 20 employees, comprising five licensed architects. Throughout the years, the firm has built a practice centered around problem-solving, driven by a desire to maximize each client's investment.

Jeffrey L. Carlile
A principal and co-founder of the firm, Jeff has over three decades of experience in architectural design. He is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Calvin J. Coatsworth
A principal and co-founder of the firm, Cal has over three decades of experience in architectural design. He is also a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Jamie C. Poladian
An architect at Carlile Coatsworth Architects, Jamie has a strong background in design and construction. He is a graduate of Woodbury University.
Marcy Fields
An architect at Carlile Coatsworth Architects, Marcy has a strong interest in sustainable design. She is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach.
