Our Story

Our story began in 2006 when our founder, Michael Maddrell, recognized the need for a reliable and quality landscaping service in the Columbus area. An Ohio native, Michael grew up in Waynesburg, Ohio, and studied Turf management at The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute in Wooster, Ohio. Prior to starting Echelon Landscaping, Michael worked in various grounds maintenance positions across the country, honing his skills and developing a passion for creating beautiful outdoor spaces.

We understand the challenge of cleaning up fall leaves. From the beginning of November to the first Friday in December, our team will remove leaves from driveways, walkways, decks, and in the grass areas during our regularly scheduled visits.

Our bed-weeding service is a client favorite, keeping you from spending your weekends on yard work. We may use chemicals to assist in suppressing weeds, but prefer hand-weeding, so please let us know if this is your preference.
