Our History
Arizona Storage Works is a family-owned and operated business, which is a rarity in today's world. Our company is owned by 2nd generation Arizona natives, and we take pride in being one of the first closet organization and storage solution companies in Arizona with such heritage. We officially opened in 2013, but our family's roots in construction and woodworking date back to the beginning of 1990.
Our Family's Legacy
Our parent company, Cholla Enterprises, was formed by our patriarch, Jim Boettcher, in 1990. For over twenty years, Cholla Enterprises served as a premier lumber milling and corbel cutting business. Jim, or "dad, " built a strong business that has served as the foundation for our current venture. In 2012, Jim retired, and his three children, Dave, Dan, and Pam, decided to launch a new business, Arizona Storage Works.
Dave, our lead designer and installer, had been building cabinets on the side while working for his father and developed a passion for the work. When Jim retired, Dave, Dan, and Pam followed his lead, combining their skills and expertise to create Arizona Storage Works. "A lot of companies will separate the creative process from the building process. We actually embrace connecting the two, " says Dave.
