At Woodard & Greenstein, we're proud to celebrate 50 years of excellence in the business of American Antiques and rugs. Our journey began in 1971 when Blanche Greenstein and Thos. K. Woodard opened a small second-floor shop on Lexington Avenue in New York City, showcasing their extensive collection of American antique quilts and folk art. Since then, we've had the privilege of serving collectors, designers, and celebrities from all over the world, and have exhibited at major antiques shows in the U.S. and London.

Our WOODARD WEAVE flat woven rugs and Hooked Rugs are designed to add a touch of classic American elegance to any home. With over 100 designs and colorways to choose from, our WOODARD WEAVE collection is available through our catalog or online shop. Our Hooked Rugs are inspired by traditional antique patterns, and we can create custom designs to fit any size or style.
In addition to our rug collection, we also deal in American Antiques and quilts, offering a curated selection of 19th and early 20th-century pieces. Our knowledgeable staff is dedicated to helping clients find the perfect addition to their home or collection.
Our Expertise

We've written three books on American quilts, given talks on textiles at seminars and educational institutions, and served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Antiques Dealers.
