Neumann Sloat Arnold Architects, Inc. (NSA) is a leading building envelope architectural firm founded in 2009 by Brian Neumann, AIA and Austin Sloat, AIA and joined by Steve Arnold AIA in 2015. With offices in Oakland, California, Lake Oswego, Oregon, and Honolulu, Hawaii, we specialize in building envelope consulting for new construction, restoration and repair projects, and construction litigation support.
Our Expertise

Our team of architects and contractors thoroughly investigates the root cause of problems and researches the best available option. Our Team
Our team of experts consists of 11 people, including principals Brian Neumann, Austin Sloat, and Steve Arnold, as well as other experienced architects, project managers, and technical managers. Our team members are active members of various professional organizations, including the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS), and the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI). They have also served on the boards of the Roofing Contractors Industry (RCI), Sealant Waterproofing and Restoration Institute (SWRI), Western Construction Consultants (WESTCON), and the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
