As a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional, I have a passion for sustainable design and healthy buildings. With over 20 years of experience in commercial, industrial, civic, university, K-12, and mixed-use projects throughout Southern California and across the United States, I have honed my skills in consensus-building leadership, technical expertise, and community leadership.

Our team is experienced in working on various project types, from adaptive reuse of historic buildings to authoring design guidelines for international industrial parks. We also specialize in helping cannabis clients navigate complex state and local licensing, design, and construction requirements, as well as serving as sustainability guides for LEED Platinum office buildings.
Industrial Projects
Our team understands the stringent regulatory challenges of factory and warehouse uses and has experience working on various industrial projects. We've worked on retail storefronts, cultivation, distribution, and manufacturing projects since 2014.
Commercial Projects
From new creative office and retail interior tenant improvements to adaptive re-use, our team thrives in the commercial realm. We enjoy creating stellar homes within difficult sites, environmentally sensitive land, historic fabric, and code overlays.

At our core, we believe that architecture should protect human health and the environment. We believe in sustainable design and healthy buildings and strive to incorporate green building principles into our projects. We have experience working on LEED-certified projects and are knowledgeable in sustainable construction and consulting.
Design
We believe strongly that design happens at every stage of a project. From capturing client thoughts at preliminary meetings to hashing through details with materials and systems vendors, designing technical drawings for permit, sketching details with contractors in the field, and hundreds of opportunities in between. We build teams of experts to meet the unique goals of each project.
When working on new buildings and sites, we tread lightly using an additive approach. When working with existing buildings, we seek to thoughtfully modernize for the current inhabitants while respecting the structure's original character and neighboring context.

With over 20 years of project and community leadership experience, Kristi is a dynamic and creative leader who has worked on a wide range of projects throughout Southern California and across the United States. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and has served on the American Institute of Architecture San Diego Chapter's Board of Directors in various roles.
