Our Journey
Our founder, Palash Desai, was a 15-year veteran of Silicon Valley, where he created innovative technologies that are now found in every cell phone and television sold worldwide. In 2008, Palash was given the opportunity to spend two years in Africa with his family, developing a technology center under a joint program with the US Department of State. This experience deeply impacted Palash, revealing the vast disparities between the "haves" and the "have-nots." This experience inspired him to create The Organic Maids, a company that would focus on empowering its employees and making a positive impact on the community.
