Meet the Owner
Tom Thilgen, the owner of US Key Service, is a second-generation auto locksmith with over 40 years of experience. Originally from southern California, Tom has been serving the metro Phoenix area for many years. He takes pride in providing fast and affordable services to drivers all over the valley, and he especially enjoys offering Mesa emergency car locksmith services, understanding the importance of quick response times in hot environments like Arizona.
Our History
US Key Service has a long history of providing auto locksmith services. In 1972, Bill and Olga Thilgen started their very first locksmith company based out of southern California called Arkco Security Co. Tom Thilgen, Bill and Olga's son, joined the company in 1972, and the family unit was created. In 1973, Arkco Security Co. was awarded a Southern California Auto Club contract to provide members with lockout and locksmith service. Tom continued to run the company until 2007 when it was sold. In 2005, Tom started his own company, American Lock Service Enterprises LLC in Phoenix, AZ. He continued to run both companies until 2007 when Arkco Security Co. was sold. In 2007, Tom moved to Phoenix and created a sub-company called US Key Service.
