Our story began many years ago, in the early 1930s, when John Coyne started a roofing company in New York to help people affected by heavy downpours. Our History
In 1930, John Coyne founded 5 Star Roofing Company, with the "5 stars" symbolizing his sons who were serving in World War II. After the war, his sons returned and took over the family business. In 1973, Bob Coyne, one of John's sons, continued the service with his own family. The business was passed down through generations, and in 2018, Patrick Coyne Sr. came out of retirement with a new vision for the company. He partnered with his son, Patrick Coyne Jr. II, to start Authentic Roofing, continuing the family tradition of providing quality roofing services.
