Our Story
Our journey began with Rollie Clarkson, who founded his first remodeling company, RC Construction, in 1985. After growing up in the construction business, Rollie expanded RC Construction into the insurance and restoration industry, eventually purchasing a franchised company called Remodeling Contractors and Cleaning Services (RCCS). As the company grew, Rollie felt the need for a new name and a focus on remodeling, leading to the formation of Remodeling Contractors.
Fleming Construction
In 2001, Zak Fleming founded Fleming Construction with a vision to create a unique remodeling company that followed a set of core values. This belief has evolved into the Theory of Remodeltivity, which guides our operations today. In 2018, Marc Black joined Fleming Construction as a partner, and together they set out to expand the business, seeking like-minded individuals to fill various roles within the company. They discovered that many qualified candidates were small business owners in the remodeling and design industry, so they worked to create a company culture that could support their talents.
