Our History
Our story began in 1971 when Al Scardina started designing and selling kitchens at Kitchen Krafters in Youngstown, OH. In 1983, the Scardina family relocated to Winston-Salem and opened The Kitchen Center, with Phyllis Scardina joining the team. In 1990, we opened our current location on Burke Street. Over the years, our family has continued to grow and expand, with Michael Scardina joining the business in 1993 and Lori Maughon, another family member, bringing her interior design expertise to Winston-Salem in 2016.
