Our History
American Lumber Company was founded in 1923 by William R. Mensinger, a first-generation American who came to California in 1900. Over the years, our company has grown and evolved, adding a hardware store to our facilities in the 1970s and expanding our product line to include high-quality wood, windows, and patio doors from reputable brands like Andersen, Marvin, and JELD-WEN. Today, our company remains family-owned and operated, with John B. Mensinger, the grandson of our founder, at the helm.
