Darling Painting, established in 1985 by Thomas Darling in his hometown of Santa Rosa, has grown to become a reputable and experienced painting company in Sonoma County. Our Services

We offer a comprehensive range of services, including exterior and interior painting, new construction, cabinet painting, wood staining, and color consultations. Our experienced team ensures that every surface is carefully prepared and that only the best products from our trusted suppliers are used.
Exterior Painting
Our exterior painting services begin with a complimentary estimate appointment, where we assess the scope of work and provide a detailed pricing. Once an estimate has been accepted, a signed contract and 10% deposit are required to secure a place on our schedule. Before painting, we power wash the surface to remove debris and ensure a smooth finish. If repairs are necessary, they are completed before painting, and we provide a detailed breakdown of costs. We strive to meet our intended start and end dates, but we cannot guarantee these dates. Our payment schedule includes a 10% deposit, 50% upon completion of preparation, and the remaining balance upon completion of services. A 5% per month penalty applies to outstanding balances, and credit card payments incur an additional 3.5% processing fee.
Interior Painting
Our interior painting process is similar to our exterior painting services. We begin with a complimentary estimate appointment, followed by a signed contract and 10% deposit to secure a place on our schedule. If repairs are necessary, they are completed before painting, and we provide a detailed breakdown of costs. As with exterior painting, we strive to meet our intended start and end dates, but we cannot guarantee these dates.
Additional Services
At Darling Painting, we also offer special services, including lead house removal and preparation, which requires a certified supervisor or foreman on site. We are an EPA Lead Certified Company, ensuring that we meet the legal requirements for working on lead-based homes. Our color consultation services are available to our clients, providing guidance on selecting the perfect colors for their projects. We understand that our clients may require touch-up or repair work, and we have a comprehensive warranty in place to address these needs.
