Our Design + Build Process
At the heart of our Design + Build process is the concept of teamwork. We believe that by putting our clients and our company into a collaborative relationship at the very beginning, we can produce successful projects. Our clients are asked to list their expectations, project needs and goals, and their budgets or financial investment range for their project. As both the designer and contractor, we can produce elevations and floor plans, produce a guaranteed contract price, and build the exact project you envisioned.
Design + Build Process
Our Design + Build process involves four main steps: Design Conceptual Designs & Estimates, Construction Documents & Fixed Price Contract, Construction, and Project Completion.
In the first step, we review the design agreement, and our designer combines your hopes and dreams with their imagination and experience to create initial drawings, keeping in mind your lifestyles and tastes. Preliminary estimates help us hone the design to accommodate your budget.
In the second step, construction drawings, specifications, and schedules are prepared to become the basis of a fixed-price construction agreement. Permit drawings are prepared and submitted to the appropriate municipal building department for approval.
In the third step, one of our experienced lead carpenters is assigned to build and manage your project from start to finish. Consideration is given to your needs and lifestyle during the course of construction. Areas not remodeled are protected to reduce dust intrusion until the project is completed, cleaned, and prepared for you to enjoy.
