A History of Excellence

Micah McRae, President of McRae Enterprises LLC, began his career as a site foreman for a residential construction company. He started by performing and managing excavation, site-work, foundation installation, utility installation, concrete work, drainage improvement, irrigation, and landscaping of new homes. Throughout his tenure, he gained extensive knowledge of various exterior finishes, masonry facades, roof systems, and more. When exterior work was limited, he mastered the interior by learning structural framing, flooring, trim carpentry, mechanicals, interior finishes, and more.

In 2006, Southern Indiana experienced a surge in homebuilding activity, providing an ideal foundation for Micah to learn the business of construction. Despite the economic downturn, Micah parted ways with the new home construction industry and founded McRae Enterprises in 2006. From its humble beginnings, he started working on sizable insurance restoration projects and high-end residential remodeling. Over the years, McRae Enterprises LLC successfully branched into commercial construction.

Our Evolution

Since 2010, McRae Enterprises, LLC refined its business model to focus solely on commercial development and commercial construction projects. With many successful and sizable commercial projects completed, McRae Enterprises has grown into a premier commercial general contractor in the greater Louisville and South Central Indiana market.

In 2012, McRae Enterprises, LLC secured an opportunity to manage large renovation and remodeling projects for a large physician-owned optometry practice and ambulatory surgical center. This project proceeded with no scheduled shut-downs, making the logistical challenges intense. The project's success showcased McRae Enterprises' workmanship value to numerous other medical practices that required similar quality management.
