Our Owner

Crystal Newport, the owner of Northwoods Finished Basements & Remodeling, brings over 24 years of construction experience to the table. Her 9 years of hands-on experience coupled with her 15 years as a Project Manager for both commercial and residential projects up to $2 Million have equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the construction process from start to finish.

Crystal's passion for construction began in high school when she started working for a local builder. Inspired by the intricate details and the ability to see a vision come to life, she embarked on a journey that led her to pursue her ambition in the construction industry. She worked on diverse commercial projects in Alaska, ranging from grocery stores to government housing remodels, honing her skills and expanding her knowledge. Returning to her hometown of Minocqua, she seamlessly transitioned into the office environment, excelling in sales, design, estimating, on-site management, and most importantly, prioritizing customer satisfaction.

Over the years, Crystal has earned a strong reputation for her exceptional communication skills, technical expertise, design creativity, leadership qualities, and unwavering work ethic. She is highly regarded by her team of subcontractors, material vendors, and a network of satisfied customers.
