Since 1977, the Stanton family has been dedicated to serving the needs of homeowners throughout the state, ensuring warmth and safety in their homes. J.D. Stanton, the founder, recognized the importance of reliable chimney services and established J.D. Stanton Chimnologist, a part-time venture that quickly gained traction. The business quickly proved its value, cleaning, maintaining, and inspecting chimneys, vents, fireplaces, wood stoves, and furnaces, becoming a trusted resource for countless families.

In 1979, J.D. and his wife, Lynn, made the decision to dedicate themselves fully to the burgeoning business. Their commitment expanded alongside their family, welcoming three sons - Rodney, John, and Kevin - who grew immersed in the world of chimneys and fireplaces. J.D. shared his passion and expertise with his sons, teaching them the ins and outs of the industry. They learned the importance of meticulous craftsmanship, unwavering safety standards, and the genuine satisfaction of providing a vital service to their community.

A Family Legacy

Tragedy struck in 1992, forcing the Stanton family to put their business on hold. However, the legacy they built and their dedication to their customers remained deeply ingrained. Years passed, and Rodney felt the pull of his family's legacy. Driven by their shared passion and the desire to serve their customers with the same dedication as before, Rodney re-established the business, joined by brother John. Together, they carried forward the values instilled by their father, combining expertise with a genuine commitment to building lasting relationships with their clientele.
