The company's legacy dates back to the early 1920s with Meyer Kimball, who started as an electrical distributor in Pittsburgh. Meyer's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Kim Electric Supply Company, which laid the foundation for the family's journey in illumination. His son, William Kimball, joined the business after serving in the United States Navy during World War II. The company continued to flourish under the guidance of William and his son, Gerry, until Gerry's passing in 2006. Today, Robert S. Kimball Associates, Inc. remains a testament to the enduring spirit and dedication of three generations.
