• Dryer vent cleaning: A clogged dryer vent can increase your energy bills, damage your appliance, and even pose a fire hazard. We use specialized equipment to safely and effectively clean your dryer vent.
• Gas log service: We offer maintenance and repair services for your gas log fireplace, including pilot operation and condition checks, burner checks, and remote or wall switch operation checks.
• Crown repair and water repellent: We can power-wash your chimney to remove stains and mildew growth, and apply water repellent treatment to protect your masonry and brickwork.

Meet the Crew

At Chimney Keepers, our team is led by Will Gilfillan, a seasoned professional with over 27 years of experience in the industry. Will is a member of the North Carolina Chimney Sweep Association and has a deep understanding of chimney systems, safety protocols, and industry standards. Sarah, Will's wife, is our office manager and handles all scheduling and financial matters. Korey, our technician, has been with us for over three years and is a full-time firefighter in Durham.

A New Chapter

As we look to the future, we are excited to announce that Will and Sarah Gilfillan will be taking over Chimney Keepers as of March 30, 2020. With Karen and Carl Newton's retirement, we are confident that Will and Sarah will continue to provide the same level of excellence, dedication, and customer service that has defined our company for over two decades.
