Our History

Our story began in 1974 when Jerry Davis started The Davis Company in his home. Over the years, the business grew and expanded, and in 1981, Jerry moved the business to its current location in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. In 1992, Randy Davis, Jerry's son, took over the business after working his way through college as a painter and managing the company for his father. Under Randy's leadership, Davis Painting & Decorating has continued to grow and expand its services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

We specialize in providing a wide range of commercial and industrial painting services, including shop pre-finishing of millwork, sandblasting, water blasting, texturing, and much more. Shop Finishing Operations

In 2005, we expanded our operations by purchasing a complex of four buildings, totaling 20,000 square feet. This expansion allowed us to establish a comprehensive shop finishing operation, enabling us to complete a significant portion of the construction finishing process off-site. This innovative approach benefits our clients by reducing construction time, improving efficiency, and providing cost savings.
