Our company was established in 2001 as a partnership between Rufus Lewis and Benny Board. Initially, we specialized in building pole barns and decks, but we quickly evolved into a full-service residential company, constructing high-end custom homes. In 2012, Rufus Lewis became the sole owner and operator of B&L Construction, and in 2013, Bryan Lewis and Brian Newton joined forces with Rufus to start our commercial division. Today, we are a top-performing general contractor in the commercial industry, with a particular focus on restaurants that require fast-paced schedules for completion.

We are currently licensed to perform work in the states of Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and the District of Columbia. Our management team has extensive experience working with top-tier companies, and we've taken the best practices we've learned to make our company more efficient and effective.
