Preparing for your move and maximizing your storage space can be made easier with these helpful tips. Before you pack, make a thorough inventory of your belongings and determine the appropriate size unit for your needs. Gather all necessary packing supplies, including boxes, tape, bubble wrap, marking pens, damp rid, rope, and pallets.

Label every box clearly on all six sides with contents and the corresponding room in your new location. This will save you valuable time when unpacking. Place heavier items at the bottom of boxes and lighter items on top to prevent crushing.

Wrap fragile items securely with bubble wrap or unprinted paper, and reinforce the packing tape for extra protection. For valuable items, consider using specialty boxes or wraps.
