Our Services

Gill Tree Care offers a wide range of services to meet all of your tree care needs. Our team of certified arborists are trained to handle any task, from pruning and trimming to removal and planting. We also provide additional services such as tree cabling, tree lightning protection systems, stump grinding, and more.

One of our most popular services is our free wood chip program. After completing a tree removal, we work directly with local saw mills and furniture makers to repurpose part of our urban forest into history. We then provide free wood chips for communities such as Decatur, Oakhurst, Kirkwood, Avondale Estates, East Atlanta, Atlanta, Druid Hills, Emory, Medlock, Inman Park, Brookhaven, Briarcliff, Candler Park, Tucker, Pine Lake, Clarkston, Scottdale, Stone Mountain, and beyond.

Tree and Shrub Pruning / Trimming

Pruning trees and shrubs is as much an art as it is a science. Providing your part of the canopy with the correct prescription - whether for aesthetics or safety - is our goal. Our team of certified arborists will work with you to create a personalized pruning plan that meets your specific needs and ensures the health and beauty of your trees and shrubs.

Tree Removal

When the time comes, removal of a tree should be handled with care. Our team will remove your tree with the highest level of safety and with minimal impact to your property. After removal, all tree parts will then be sustainably utilized either as free wood chips for the community, or through one of our wood repurposing partners, most notably The Jack Ellis Company.

Tree Planting
