Species We Carry

Our species list includes the following:

• White Oak: A light brown wood with prominent wood rays and a strong grain pattern.
• Red Oak: Similar to White Oak but with a pinkish cast heartwood and a somewhat stronger grain pattern.
• Hard Maple: A hardwood with white sapwood and brownish heartwood, known for its hardness and resistance to shock.
• Soft Maple: Similar to Hard Maple but softer and easier to work, with white sapwood and mild brown heartwood.
• Ash: A hardwood with pale brown heartwood and nearly white sapwood, known for its medium weight and superior toughness and strength.
• Poplar: A lightweight, fine-grained wood with whitish sapwood and yellowish-green heartwood.
• Cherry: A wood that is easy to machine and finishes beautifully, with a reddish-brown color and off-white sapwood.
• Hickory: A hardwood with a characteristic reddish-brown color and white sapwood.
