At An Extra Body Movers, we believe that moving doesn't have to be complicated, stressful, or expensive. We were founded in 2013 with the goal of providing reliable, customer-friendly, and affordable moving assistance. We understand that traditional moving companies can be predatory, with expensive hourly charges, minimal-charges floor, and expensive travel fees. That's why we're committed to putting the power back in our customers' hands.
We serve the "Do-it-Yourself" movers by supplying moving help, without the added expense of maintaining trucks or storage areas. Our experienced movers will show up, get to work, and finish the job efficiently, so you can get on with your day. We know you have better things to do than worry about your move.
Our Mission
We're not your typical moving company. We care about our customers and want to handle each item with the care and concern that you would. We place our customers' belongings where they want them, not where it's most convenient to dump them. We pack items the way our customers desire, and we load our customers' rented trucks so that nothing shifts, even through erratic traffic and unpredictable routes.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to make your move as smooth as possible. Our services include:
- Organization Service: Our personnel will guide you through the process of assessing what to keep, donate, or trash, organizing everything for its eventual journey, and preparing for the packing phase of the move.
- Packing Service: We offer affordable packing rates in 4-hour increments, and you can choose to provide your own supplies or have us provide them. We'll also send a Packing Coordinator to assess your packing needs.
- Moving Service: We offer customized moving options, including loading/unloading only, moving the "big and/or heavy stuff, " within-dwelling moves, office-to-office moves, and estate item moving.
- Move-Day Cleaning: We'll take care of the move-day clean-up, so you can focus on setting up your new home.
